Delete your Sortova account
Sortova is the app name shown on the store listing. It is provided by Abbeyfields. You can request that your account and associated data be deleted at any time.
Steps to request account and data deletion
- Open the Sortova app on your device.
- Log in to your account if you are not already logged in.
- Go to Settings (gear icon or menu).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation and follow the prompts. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
- Your account and the data described below will be deleted.
If you cannot access the app (e.g., you no longer have the device), contact us and we will process your deletion request: support@abbeyfields.io. Please use the email address associated with your Sortova account.
Data that is deleted
When you delete your Sortova account, we permanently delete the following:
- Account information — email, profile, preferences, and authentication data.
- Your app data — events, volunteer hours, mood entries, journal entries, habits and completions, achievements, notifications, and friendships.
- Organizations you created — unless other users have volunteer hours linked to them (in that case the organization is anonymized and no longer linked to you).
Data retention
After you confirm deletion, your account and the data listed above are removed from our systems. We do not retain copies for a recovery period; deletion is permanent. Some data may remain in backups for a limited time for operational and security reasons, after which it is overwritten.
